During the long summer days we search for some type of cooling relief in the city. We have only one ice cream parlor in the golden triangle. But what about healthy, natural and frozen?
I stumbled upon Popsburgh during an exploring moment on the North Shore by the step fountains outside of Hyde Park. It was a handmade cart that held a cooler. It had a modest white board sign and an umbrella to protect from the sun or light drizzle.
The icy treats were all natural; made from pureed fruit. There is a split menu for premium pops and standard pops. Some of the specialty pops come in flavors like: Mango Dreamsicle, Citrus Cooler, and Banana Nut Breakfast. The standard pops include: Strawberry, Fudge, and Lime. There is also a Popsburgh Pops for Pups made for the four-legged friend.
