Mac and Cheese is a staple comfort food that has been jazzed up over the years by lobster, steak or chicken. One restaurant has made it a main focus of its menu; Mac and Toz.
Some of the menu included a Hot Mess Mac that was a spicy dish of peppers, mac and cheese and a Sriracha. Another we tried was The Buffalo Bleu Mac with grilled chicken, buffalo sauce and bleu cheese crumbles on top. The last mac and cheese we tried was the Lobster Pot Mac with all the meat of a lobster in a creamy cheese sauce with a parmesan panko crust topping. As sides we tried the loaded nachos and loaded fries. Everything is served in a cast iron skillet.
Mac and Toz is a redesigned diner at the corder of Washington Ave and Station Street. The main focus is the bar area which the wood came from an old church in Bloomfield. There are often beer and whiskey tasting nights and all events can be found on Facebook.
