There is no better combination then Tacos and Tequila and this Memorial Day Wigle and Good Food Pittsburgh are bringing both to the Barrelhouse. On Friday, May 25th Wigle will release two spirits; Al Centro and Abajo. The Al Centro is a whiskey made with three malts: mesquite-smoked malt,  brewers malt and caramel malt. It is a lighter colored whiskey because it is finished in tequila barrels.

The Abajo is distilled with a local buckwheat honey from Bedillion Honey Farm in Hickory, Pennsylvania. This spirit is aged for three years in a tequila barrel and ends with notes of pepper and honey. Abajo is a perfect substitute for tequila in a margarita.
