Collaboration and community are values that the hilltop communities strive to keep in them. Everyone works close together and they community to home. Hilltopolis is such a project that brings a community together and helps raise funds for The Brasher Kids.

The evening kicks off at 6:30 with the presentations from GiveCamp; a weekend-long event that pairs designers and developers with local non-profits. The developers and designers are able to provide everything from logos and websites to social media and business development. At Hilltopolis the teams will present their final projects and hand them over to the non-profits.

At 7:30 through 8:15 there will be a happy hour and a Live DJ on stage.

At 7:15 PK Delay and Pet Zebra hit the stage. PK Delay and Pet Zebra are two of Pittsburgh’s up and coming hip-hop stars that both have projects coming this year.

Then at 9PM, The Cool Kids take the stage with a raw hip-hop sound. Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks make up this Chicago-based rap group that has reunited and putting out their first album in six years. Their underground hit When Fish Ride Bicycles was one of the hits that propelled them to be one of the first artists to grow from online.

To finish off the night at 10:30 there is an after-party at the RE 360 LLC Warehouse. This party goes to 2 AM and will feature the spins of DJ Pete Butta. He is one of Pittsburgh’s top DJ’s having worked with everyone from Wiz Khalifa to private parties for the Pittsburgh Steelers. You can usually catch him at The Goldmark and The Flats on Carson.

AfterParty and Happy Hour is hosted by Creatives Drink. Founders Cody Baker and Chancelor Humphrey host parties for local artists, designers and innovators. They gather at places like AceHotel and Carnegie Museum of art for hours of drinks and networking.
