Multi-Platinum recording artist Joan Osborne brings the sounds of Bob Dylan to Pittsburgh on September 23rd at the Byham Theater. For the last year she has been touring the country performing this show and has collaborated it into an album that was released on September 1st.
Joan Osborne has long been a captivating songwriter with a powerful message. She has won seven Grammy’s and has toured and performed with other artists like Stevie Wonder, Emmylou Harris and Luciano Pavarotti. In the past few years she toured as a solo act, with the group Joan Osborne’s Soul Revue and in 2003 she joined the remaining members of Grateful Dead for a tour as The Dead. She also currently tours with the supergroup Trigger Hippy which was founded by Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman.
This current tour; Joan Osborne Sings the Songs of Bob Dylan is brought to Pittsburgh’s Byham Theater by the Cultural Trust and WYEP on September 23rd at 7:30PM.
