Pizza chefs in Pittsburgh are pushing the limits and winning awards with unique pies. Now, GoodTaste! Pittsburgh is throwing a fest just to highlight these unique restaurants, including Pizza Davide and Driftwood Oven.
The PizzaFest - A Slice of Delish brings different chefs from around the Pittsburgh area showing off many talents.
Anthony Ambliotis, from Mediterra Bakehouse, will prepare All Palla, an oval flatbread made with a paddle.
Chris Bartko, from Gabagool Pizzeria, is bringing a mobile woodfire grill to make pies.
Neil Blazin, from Driftwood Oven, a mobile truck and storefront in Lawrenceville, specializes in sourdough pizza with locally sourced ingredients.
Dave Anoia, from newly opened Pizza Davide, will serve a traditional New York Style Pizza.
Kevin Konn and Justin Balla, of Romulus Pizza al Taglio, is helping some crispy crust pies.
Micheal Mercurio, from Mercurio’s Pizza and Gelato, is creating Neapolitan style pizza.
Pete Tolman, from Iron Born Pizza, is bringing the new craze of Detroit-style Pizza to the festival. All amazing pizzas, authentic, and interesting.
Guests can also enjoy Arsenal Cider and Ole Smoky Whiskey along with food demonstrations, pizza trivia, live music and vendors all about Pizza.
PizzaFest - A Slice of Delish comes to PA Market on June 23rd from 6 PM to 9 PM. Pizzafest is a 21+ event and tickets are $25 online or $35 at the door. Pizzafest - A Slice of Delish!
