Putt In Pittsburgh

By: Amanda Narcisi

I have an unbroken competitive streak when it comes to one sport: Mini Golf. I start trash talking, make bets and get really frustrated when I don’t win. It is a horrible thing. Pittsburgh Mini Golf is a special night out. It can make a couple fight, a group of friends laughs for hours or in all just be some high fresh air. Here is a look at three Mini Golf courses in Pittsburgh.

Forsythe Mini Golf

This course is a challenging 18 holes with uphill slopes and some bridges to combat. Located in Carnegie, Forsythe is family owned with pride behind it. They embrace the neighborhood and offer family fun for all ages. Bonus info: there is a candy wall at the snack bar and homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches. The cookies are homemade, and you get to pick cookie, the flavor of ice cream and then topping to go around the side. My favorite: The Frosty and Fries: sugar cookie, chocolate ice cream, and potato chips. Sweet, salty and sassy.

Forsythe Mini Golf is located at 920 Forsythe Rd Carnegie PA United States 15106-3043. For more information visit https://www.forsytheminiaturegolf.com.

Cool Springs

This 18 hole course is located hilltop in South Hills. Fun for the whole family, this challenging course is an excellent addition to the Fairway Grille and the driving range attached.

Cool Springs is located at 1530 Hamilton Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15234. For more information visit https://playcoolsprings.com.

North Park Mini Golf

Perhaps the most classic of the three, North Park Minigolf begins 18 holes with a massive Humpty Dumpty overlooking the first hole. This is a game of traditional mini golf with water courses, windmills, and the usual twists and turns.

The North Park Mini Golf is located at 865 E Ingomar Rd, Wexford, PA 15090, right by the Driving Range and Par 3. For more information visit http://www.northparkbattingrange.com/index.html.

Hope you have a great night at any of these classic mini-golf courses. Let us know your favorite and tag us any photos you take!
