High fashion and “Go Red for Women” collide of the annual Costumes for a Cause fashion show. The 5th annual Costumes for a Cause fashion show and cocktail party is September 30th at Hotel Monaco downtown.
Michele Garris, the founded the event after the passing of her father.
“After my father passed away suddenly at age 56 from a massive heart attack, I realized just how pervasive heart disease is. I’m taking action by promoting awareness to a younger generation through fun fashion events.”
The evening will kick off at 7:30 with an hour long cocktail party and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets will include one complimentary cocktail from sponsor Clique Vodka. At 8:30 a silent auction and raffle prize giveaway will precede the fashion show at 9:00PM. The costume fashion show features 25 models with the latest in upscale women’s costumes from Glamour House Costumes.
Celebrity guest host is Debbie Mitcheson former Pittsburgher and MAXIM Magazine covergirl. Pittsburgh 50 Finest Alumni, Frank Murgia acts as emcee for the evening and entertainment by DJ Enn Era and Diana Rue Media.
