In 1991 Hollywood shined a light on Pittsburgh when Silence of the Lambs was filmed in Soldiers and Sailers Memorial Hall in Oakland. The famous cage from the scene of torture has been memorialized this Halloween season with a party.
On October 4th the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall comes to life when the cage will be on grand display in the same room where the scene was filmed for the movie. From 6-8PM there will be snacks and cash bar with a DJ and the cage and movie scene will come to life. This event is 21 and over. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
