Animal Friends - http://www.thinkingoutsidethecage.org/ - Animal Friends offers adoptions of cats, dogs, and small animals. They also provide low cost spay/neuter and health clinics, education and behavior training, and much more.
Animal Rescue League Shelter and Wildlife Center - http://www.animalrescue.org/ - Providing adoption/foster services and veterinary care as well as rehabilitation services for wildlife, the Animal Rescue League Shelter and Wildlife Center takes in over 13,000 animals per year with their Open Door policy – no animal is turned away.
Art Expression Inc - http://artexpressioninc.org/ - Serving over 7,000 children within Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties, Art Expression Inc. is an after-school program that helps kids develop social skills and problem solving through art.
Biggies Bullies - http://www.biggiesbullies.com/ - 100% volunteer run, Biggies Bullies is a foster home based Pit Bull-type rescue program.

Dress for Success Pittsburgh - https://pittsburgh.dressforsuccess.org/ - Not only does Dress for Success Pittsburgh provide professional attire for disadvantaged women, but they also provide support, networking services, and career development tools.
Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank - https://www.pittsburghfoodbank.org/ - With a mission to end hunger in Southwest PA, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank distributes nearly 2 million pounds of food monthly to those in need. They have several programs throughout the year including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), a senior care program, and other community events.
Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council - http://www.gplc.org/ - GPLC offers programs like basic reading and math classes, GED classes, ELS programs, workforce preparation, etc.
Homeless Children’s Education Fund - http://www.homelessfund.org/ - Providing educational programs and services to children and youth experiencing homelessness
Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse - http://pccr.org/ - PCCR offers classes, workshops, and other hands-on programs. Their shop also allows people to purchase materials at a low cost for projects and prevents items from going into landfills. They accept material and monetary donations.
Rabbit Wranglers - http://www.rabbitwranglers.org/ - Rabbit Wranglers is a 501(c)3 registered charity that rescues domesticated rabbits and educates the public on care and bettering the lives of these companion animals.
Society for Contemporary Craft - http://contemporarycraft.org/ - Located in Pittsburgh’s Strip District, the Society for Contemporary Craft was founded to provide craft artists with opportunities to display their work.

Women’s Care Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh - http://www.wcspittsburgh.org/ - WCS provides high-quality, confidential services for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. These services include a 24-hour shelter, legal and medical advocacy, children’s programs, and support groups.
