Pittsburgh fashion has a made break through in the past few years and continues to grow. One of the hottest fashion movements is the Pittsburgh T-shirt. One of the most known shirt artists are those at Steel City and they have finally opened a store in downtown on Smithfield Street. What started as a pop-up shop over the Christmas season grew to a permanent location.
Steel City has shirts that express a unique side of Pittsburgh from our slang word “YINZ” to a favorite: “The Towels in Pittsburgh are Terrible”. They have a huge amount of shirts that are sports based and even commission a few as fundraiser like last years shirt to help with cancer research with the likeness of Pittsburgh Steeler DeAngelo Williams. They have a few more sports signings in the coming year in this space and urge you to follow on Facebook for all events.
The shirts and hoodies at Steel City are joined by hats, socks and even jewelry. You can check them out at steelcity.com or on their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Check out the store at 625 Smithfield Street.
