Rivendale Farms and Best Buddies
Rivendale Farms Executive Chef, Daniele Brenci hosted 14 friends ahead of the events at Rivendale Farms on October 5th.
Christine Grady, General Manager of Rivendale Farms, kicked off the visit with a farm overview. After, Chef Brenci gave a full tour of the farm, beginning with the cows that make Rivendale Farms Ice Cream. Next, a tour of the greenhouse where everyone got to taste Ginger leaves, touch, and smell Rosemary and taste ground cherries.
Christine Grady, General Manager of Rivendale Farms, said, “we are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with Best Buddies and host the Buddy Sous Chefs at the farm today. We hope that seeing and experiencing a working farm, in person, will add another dimension to the TasteBuds event and underline the importance of local, fresh food. Following the journey from planting, harvesting, and taking care our land and, in turn, the environment, through to seeing local produce prepared with their Chef partners at the TasteBuds event, will make the plates they produce even more meaningful.”
