Local makers really didn’t have a shop to call home prior to October when PG&H opened its doors in downtown Pittsburgh.
The Shop Local
Nestled right on Smithfield in the old Port Authority location, PG&H thrives itself on being a pop-up that houses local craftsmen. Currently housing 25 local artisans from furniture makers to illustrators.
Some of the vendors include Stak Ceramics who craft beautiful tabletops organizers that hold electronics like tablets and phones. Burghwood crafts furniture from rescued wood and strives itself on beautiful joins and minimal hardware. Coded Clay prints a collection of 3D Printed Ceramic Homewares.
Events and Refreshments
Inside of PG&H is a coffee counter that serving up to go or while you wait. Redhawk Coffee menu includes lattes and regular coffee.
Events at PG&H include Valentine’s Day Jewelry Show and a Meet the Maker 2019 event on January 30th.
