Two Trucks, One step for Pittsburgh

By Amanda Narcisi

Pittsburgh has been a custom to many food trucks; tacos, sandwiches, and BBQ are found every day around the city. Pittsburgh truck fleet has two new vehicles that bring art and flowers to the streets of the Burgh.

A vintage mini truck painted the cutest shade of green rolls up to coffee shops and other stops around Pittsburgh. Victoria Miess started Victoria's Mobile Flower Shop as an Instagram account in February 2019 and quickly became a favorite around town.

Patrons can pick their flowers then they are adorably arranged and wrapped in brown paper with a string. Prices vary dependent on flowers. Victoria's Mobile Flower Shop posts it's schedule on Instagram and at https://victoriasmobileflowershop.com.

Curbside Art

Roadkill Gallery was started as a way to bring art to the masses in a new way. Artists submit pieces and pay a small fee, covers the truck rental, and in return, the art is hung and sold. Roadkill Gallery provides art education, exhibits, and performances.

Roadkill Gallary and Victoria's Mobile Flower shop are fun and a great addition to the fleet of trucks already making rounds in Pittsburgh. Give them both a follow!
